Rose Liimatainen Obituary

Rose worked as an Elementary School Aide, was known as "Grandma Rose" at Time for Tots Preschool, and was the Bookkeeper for Reuben's Hardware. She enjoyed knitting, cross-stitch, crossword puzzles, camping, and motorcycling with Reuben. She was the oldest active member at Our Savior's Lutheran Church where she was involved with Sunday School and Ladies Aide. She was also active with TOPS, Friends of the Library, and North Country Riders.
Rose was preceded in death by husband, Reuben; parents; and sister Jane Salo.
Rose is survived by children; Julie (Roger) Lyytinen, Joan (Dennis) Minks, and Jolene (Donald) Wagner; sister, Marjorie Kangas; grandchildren, Kerry (Matt) Grimes, Scott (Jessica) Lyytinen, Brian Minks, Caileen (Alex) Ostenson, Sarah (Zach) Hendrickson, Matthew (Karla) Wagner, and Tanner Wagner; and 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces, and beloved coffee friends.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Memorial Service on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Cloquet, MN. Burial will be held at a later date.
