Rose Mendez Obituary

Born in Mandeville, Jamaica, Rose emigrated to the United States in 1968 and lived throughout the Tri-State area, settling in New Jersey seven years ago. She was employed as a supervisor of oral and maxillary facial surgery at Kings County Hospital in New York and will be remembered as the life of the party who always had good stories and good jokes to be told. Rose was a loving and helpful mother, and sister who will be deeply cherished.
Surviving are her children, Chad and Jason Mendez; her sister, Joan Bell - Wickham with her husband Everard along with many extended family members, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 2pm to 4pm at GERITY & CHUBENKO FUNERAL HOME, 411 Amboy Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ 07095. Private cremation will follow.
