Rose Alba (Sorrentino) Migliozzi, 84, of Londonderry, NH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, MA, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Winthrop, MA on July 12, 1940, Rose was the cherished daughter of the late Frank and Ursula (Conte) Sorrentino. A proud graduate of Revere High School, class of 1958, she went on to build a life centered around love, family, and unwavering generosity.
On August 19, 1962, Rose married her beloved husband, Rocco J. Migliozzi, Jr. Together, they created a warm and welcoming home in Tewksbury and later in Andover, MA, where they lovingly raised their three children. Their life together was filled with laughter, devotion, and shared adventures in their homes in Naples, FL and on the beautiful shores of Lake Winnipesaukee.
A devoted homemaker, Rose's greatest joy came from nurturing her family. Her home was always filled with delicious aromas from her kitchen, where she delighted in preparing meals that brought loved ones together. Her interests extended far beyond cooking - she loved to travel, play golf, and read. More recently, she loved to spend time with her friends at The Baldwin in the pool, crocheting, dancing, and sharing a meal. She embraced every opportunity to live fully and joyfully.
Rose's kindness, wisdom, and empathy made her a natural listener and confidante. She had a gentle way of making everyone around her feel heard and loved; she radiated warmth and light.
Above all, Rose adored her family. She took immense pride in her role as a mother and grandmother, and her heart swelled with joy whenever she spoke of her seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love, strength, and grace lives on through each of them.
Rose is survived by her children: Ronald Migliozzi and his wife Stefanie of Merrimac, MA; James Migliozzi and his wife Kim of Pittsfield, NH; and Cheryl Scarvaglieri and her husband Rocco of Methuen, MA. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Giuseppe Scarvaglieri, Antonio Scarvaglieri, Samantha Zanfagna, Megan Jarrett, Allegra Migliozzi, Kristen Johnson, and Toffee Migliozzi; as well as her ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving siblings Guy Sorrentino and Mary Lambright.
Rose was predeceased by her devoted husband, Rocco J. Migliozzi, Jr., whose memory she cherished every day of her life.
Her legacy of compassion, elegance, and deep familial love will continue to inspire all who were lucky enough to know her.
Friends and family are invited to calling hours on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 5 – 7PM, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. Jason and I were very sad to hear of Aunt Rose's passing. We have so many fond memories of the good times and meals we shared with her and Uncle Rocco. And most of those wonderful meals were thanks to her delicious cooking! Their home was always warm and welcoming. I know that Ron, Jim, Cheryl and their families will miss her, but I am sure Uncle Rocco is comforted to have her back by his side. Love, Debbie

Rose exercised next to me in Heather´s class! She often talked about going out with her family for a meal. It was easy to see how much love she had for you.
She was happy to be safe at the Baldwin so you would not worry!
Sending my condolences to you.

We only knew you a short time here at the Baldwins but it was easy to see you were a loving caring person . You used to light up as you walked your family into the restaurant at the Baldwin for a family dinner . You were always a regular at exercise class and always with a smile . You will be greatly missed here at the Baldwin. Janet and Steve Morse
