Rose was a dedicated military wife of 39 years. She loved quilting, gardening, ceramics and painting.
Rose also liked antiquing and collectables. She enjoyed watching UK sports with her sons and family get-togethers.
Viewing will begin at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 5th with a prayer service by Fr. Ryan at 2:00 PM at J.C. Kirby and Son Funeral Chapel, 820 Lovers Lane, Bowling Green, KY. Rose will be laid to rest, 9:00 AM Friday, October 6th at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, 5817 Fort Campbell BLVD, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
Rose is survived by her Children Debbie (Jimmy) Williams, of St. Louis, MO; Toni (Bill) Korte, of Georgetown, TX; Steve (Patty) Scott, of Bowling Green, KY; James (Nikki) Scott, of Bowling Green, KY; Jef (Michelle) Scott, of Bowling Green, KY;
Grandchildren Lisa, of St. Louis, MO; Jennifer, Jessica and Taylor, of Pflugerville, TX; Paul, Ciara, Patrick, Cameron, James and Zach of Bowling Green, KY; Brother, David Kattar, Wisconsin.
Rose is preceded in death by her husband, James W Scott, of Bowling Green, KY; daughter, Anna "Cookie" Michalak, of Georgetown, TX; parents, Stephen and Amelia (Ablan) Kattar, of St. Louis
