Roseann Augustine, age 78, of Gladwin, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. She was born on August 25, 1947, the daughter of Milton and Anna (Kunicztkey) Herpel in Detroit, MI. On June 26, 1965, she married the love of her life, Vincent Augustine. Together, they shared 60 years of life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
For 37.5 years, Roseann was employed as a clerk at Gladwin Hospital and worked for admitting in the Emergency Room. She loved her job and even continued working there up until she was 72. Roseann loved helping with the farm work, mowing grass, and gardening. She adored animals and did a lot of canning and baking throughout the years. She enjoyed taking trips to the UP. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her beloved husband: Vincent; childen: Michael Augustine, Tom (Terri) Augustine, and Joe Augustine (Michele Dawson); 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister: Donna (Randy) Cassaday.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Milton and Anna; brother: Ted Herpel; sister: Judy Sterling-Herpel; and daughter-in-law: Gaylene Augustine.
Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
