Rosemarie Nancy Caffarelli

Rosemarie (Pace) Caffarelli, age 79, of Lake Oswego, OR, passed away in the early morning of November 12, 2025, at her home. She was born March 28, 1946, in Schenectady, New York, a daughter of the late Santino ("Sam") and Rose Marie Pace.
Rosemarie was an award-winning artist who was greatly influenced by her childhood experiences in the Adirondack region of New York State. Family visits to the lakes and forests there sparked her life-long dedication to painting and kindled her appreciation for natural beauty. Coming from a family of painters, dancers and singers, she felt compelled to express herself through painting in watercolor, oil and pastels. After relocating to the Portland area in 1989, Rosemarie found fresh inspiration in the local scenery, spending many hours outdoors capturing the area's striking mountains, rugged coastline and unspoiled green spaces on canvas. Her works have been showcased in numerous juried art shows and galleries throughout Oregon, earning awards that reflect her talent and dedication. Rosemarie's art not only enriched her life but also touched the hearts of those who experienced its beauty, leaving an enduring legacy of creativity and inspiration.
Rosemaire is survived by Greg Knight, her loving partner of over 25 years; her children, Steve (Kelly), Laurel Fields (Michael) and stepdaughter Elissa Knight; four grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces; and, her sister Maryanne Quadrini. She is preceded by her parents and her brother, Carmen Pace.
The family will gather to celebrate Rosemarie's remarkable life at a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Alzheimer's Association (Help fight Alzheimer's.)
