Rosemarie E. "RoRo" Crockett

Rosemarie Elaina Crockett-Boyd, affectionately known as "RoRo" to family and friends, was born on August 12, 1962, in Kittery, Maine. She was the daughter of Eddie Clifford Crockett Sr., and Thelma Wallace (Harvey) Crockett.
As a military child, "RoRo" lived in various places, including Ipswich, England, before settling in Passaic, NJ, where she embarked on her education in the Passaic School System. She attended Passaic High School, graduating a year early. She then continued her education at Sawyer's Business School in Clifton, NJ.
In her childhood years, she was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church-Passaic, serving on the Usher Board and the Junior Choir.
"RoRo" married Timothy Jerome Boyd Sr in 1987., and to this union, two children were born: Lavon Shaunte Crockett and Timothy Jerome Jr.
She was employed as a data entry clerk for CGS in Clifton, NJ, and was later employed by Meyer Brothers, Bradley's, and Jacob's Department Stores. In 1995, RoRo began to fulfill her passion of caring for children and became a childcare provider. Her kind and loving spirit left a lasting impact on the lives of all the children she cared for, providing compassion and care, until her health began to decline, and she no longer could.
Known for finding joy in spending time with her grandchildren, RoRo enjoyed baking homemade cookies, donuts, and candy for them and others.
On Wednesday, January 10, 2024, the Lord saw that RoRo was getting tired and said "come to me and I will give you rest". On that day, she answered God's call and departed this life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Jerome Boyd Sr., her parents Eddie and Thelma Crockett, and a grandson, Timothy Andre Eddie Crockett.
RoRo's legacy' will live on through her daughters; Lavon S. Crockett, DeCaira Mann Crockett, sons; Timothy Boyd Jr. (Ebony), Eddie Crockett, and Andre Crockett (Esmeralda Diaz), sister; Edwina Allen (Manuel), brother; Eddie Crockett Jr., best friends; and sisters-in-law; Diane McNair and Dana Boyd, close friends; Gwendolyn Crockett and Gary Kenner, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandson. Her love extends beyond family, touching the lives of many friends, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
May "RoRo" Rest in eternal peace. Her memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate to know and love her.
