I will never forget how she handled a student in her class that had a smart mouth and a dumb head!! She would go on to help his daughter get through an honors English class for Seniors while she was only a freshman. My daughter loved her and got through that Senior level class!! I will never forget her and all she did for me and my daughter. May she rest in peace....

Rosemarie was the toughest woman I ever knew. She took a 200 pound lineman from the football team to his knees because he did not study for an exam and it would have made him ineligible to play anymore! But she would spend hours on the phone with the daughter of that lineman who was struggling in an honors English class at IU. Because of her efforts that young lady went on to rank first in her class as a Physical Therapy major at IU. She was more than teacher. She was a mentor, a friend, and an example of what every teacher should be!! I regret her passing and she will always hold a special place in our hearts!!
