Resident of Schaumburg for 57 Years
Visitation for Rosemary Margaret Ficarrotta, 83, will be Friday, October 10 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm at Michaels Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 800 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, October 11 at 10:00am at Holy Archangels Parish, St. Matthew Campus, 1005 E. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg.
Rosemary found great joy in tending to her garden, where her love for flowers bloomed as beautifully as her spirit. She was a proud and active member of the Schaumburg Prairie Center Gardening Club, where she shared her knowledge, passion, and warmth with fellow garden enthusiasts. Above all, Rosemary cherished her family deeply and found her greatest happiness in the time they spent together. Her nurturing nature and gentle heart will continue to blossom in the lives of those she loved.
Loving mother of Michael (Kathleen) Ficarrotta, Brian (Sylvia) Ficarrotta, and Jeff (Pamela) Ficarrotta; beloved grandmother of Nicholas (Jessica) Ficarrotta, Ryan Ficarrotta, Jason Ficarrotta, Taylor (Kyle) Jensen, Olivia Ficarrotta, Kyle Ficarrotta; cherished sister of Kathleen Toomey, Marilyn (Norm) Olson, David (Mary) Toomey, and Joanne (Robert) Mulvey; dear friend and neighbor to many. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.
She is preceded in death by her husband of over 55 years, Jack Ficarrotta.
