With hearts full of love and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Rosemary McMonagle, born March 2, 1931, to Edward and Elizabeth Scray, who left this world on July 10 at the age of 94. She was the cherished wife of Robert McMonagle. Together, they raised 12 children and built a home filled with laughter, warmth, and enduring love.

Rosie was known for being kind, loving, silly and accepting; qualities that endeared her to everyone she met. She had an extraordinary gift: making every person feel genuinely special. Her home was filled with affection, her presence a gentle joy, and her legacy one of deep connection and generosity.

In addition to Rosemary's family activities, she also volunteered in the community at St. Mary's church making quilts and visiting the elderly.

Her incredible, unwavering faith guided her through all seasons of life. Rosemary fully believed in God and the power of prayer. She often said, "Leave it in God's hands", and she did just that, trusting fully in His grace and wisdom. We are so thankful for the gift of faith that she shared with us.

She is survived by 11 of her 12 children, Teresa Schmidt (Fred), Gary (Gail), Cathy Glaser (Tom), Steve (Mary), Louise VanSistine (Leo), Mark , Mary Jo O'Halloran (Mike), Mike (Kathy), Julie (John), Amy Browne (Ted), David, 33 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren, all whom carry her warmth, her wisdom and her legacy forward. She leaves behind a family rooted in her love and fortified by her strength. She is further survived by her sister Loretta Rock (Jim), in laws Bev Scray, Caroline and Doug Janssen, and Ron and Debbie Bos.

She is proceeded in death by her beloved husband Bob, loving son John, daughter-in-law Jodi, siblings and in-laws Norbert, George, Edgar and Delia, Joe, Mert and Bill Geenen, Kate and Harry Macco, Faunie and Don VanSistine, Herbie and Janie, Russ and Rita McMonagle.

A visitation will be held on July 18 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in De Pere from 9:00AM to 11:00AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am with Fr. Mike Ingold presiding. In honor of her compassionate and generous spirit, donations may be made to one of Rosie's favorite charities (Vail Communities, St Vincent De Paul, St. John's Ministries in Green Bay).

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered and forever in our hearts.
