Rosemary A. Williams, 85, of Clifton Park, New York, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Saratoga Hospital with her family by her side.
Rosemary was born in Schenectady, New York in 1939, the daughter of the late Adam and Mary (Vavala) Viscusi. She was also predeceased by her brother: Paul Viscusi, a grandson: Vincent, and her daughter-in-law: Christine Williams.
Rosemary graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in Schenectady with the class of 1957, and furthered her education at Hudson Valley Community College. She worked for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance.
Rosemary enjoyed her camp in Indian Lake, NY. She was very active; walking, golfing, and taking an aerobics class for over 40 years. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Clifton Park where she volunteered in the soup kitchen. Rosemary was well known for her cooking and especially for her cookies. She baked thousands of cookies for holidays and parties.
Rosemary is survived by her husband of 64 years, Lawrence Williams; her children: Lawrence Williams Jr., Mary Lu (Robert) Link, and Michelle (Keith) McAndrews; her grandchildren: Lucas, Lindsay, Jacklyn, Victoria (Michael), Jesse (Daniel), and Thomas; and her great-grandchildren: Grimm, Lucille, and Melody.
A period of visitation for Rosemary will be held at Catricala Funeral Home, 1597 Route 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065 on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon, with a service held at noon. Burial will take place at Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY immediately following the service.
