Rosendo Aguilar Blanquiz, known as BB by his family and friends, age 75, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. BB was born in San Antonio, Texas to Petra and Cayetano Blanquiz on September 25, 1948. BB was always doing something to keep busy. He worked for Vintage Air for 35 years and always had projects on the side. BB enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and riding his motorcycle. He was a master story teller and always had a story about the good ole days for anybody that would listen. BB would always say "It goes by so fast, it's over before you know it, so enjoy it". He is going to be greatly missed.
BB is preceded in death by both of his parents; his late wife, Lisa Ann Blanquiz; his 1st wife, Blanca Rosa Blanquiz; and his siblings, Rita Renteria and Fernando Blanquiz. He is survived by his daughters Brenda, Barbara, Blanche, step daughter Cassie, his son Jimmy; nephew, Jesse; his grandchildren, Louis, Lorraine, Josephine, Danielle, Brandon, Vanessa, Roy, Elizabeth, Samantha, Amber and Axel; his siblings, Ralph Blanquiz, Ruben Blanquiz, Mary Jo Alcoser, Jesse Blanquiz, Joseph Blanquiz and Rosanna Castanon; as well as 30 great grandchildren, 11 nephews, and 10 nieces.
A visitation for BB will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a funeral service at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N Main Avenue, San Antonio, Texas 78205. A burial service will occur Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218
