Rosetta Harmon-Walker, lovingly known as "Tootsie" to her family, was born on October 31, 1944, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, to Oscar Lloyd Corley and Goldie Mae (Whitson) Corley. She peacefully passed from this life on November 2, 2025, in Sulphur, Oklahoma, at the age of 81.
Rosetta grew up in Wynnewood where she attended Wynnewood Public Schools through the 11th grade and later proudly earned her GED.
On June 11, 1963, Rosetta married Donald Ray Harmon, Sr. in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. Together they shared many wonderful years, raising their family and traveling together. After Donald's passing, Rosetta was blessed to find love again, marrying Grant Walker on December 22, 2014, also in Wynnewood.
Rosetta had a long and dedicated career in banking, but before banking, she started out at David's Food Center in Wynnewood, Oklahoma before joining First National Bank, later known as Landmark Bank, where she served as a loan officer for over 30 years. Her professionalism, warmth, and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike throughout all the Landmark Bank locations she visited.
Beyond her career, Rosetta's heart belonged to her family. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent together. She was well-known for her delicious home cooking-especially her chicken and dumplings, taco soup, and beans and cornbread-and for the joy and comfort her meals brought to those she loved.
Rosetta's faith guided her life. She was a faithful servant of God, always giving "all credit to God" for her blessings. She was known for her unconditional love, positive attitude, and the way she always saw the good in others. Rosetta never had a bad word to say about anyone and constantly found ways to help those around her.
The highlights of her life were her family and the adventures she shared traveling with Donald and later with Grant. She will be remembered for her loving spirit, her gentle strength, and her unwavering kindness that touched all who knew her.
Rosetta is survived by her sons, Donald Ray Harmon Jr. and wife Cindy of Hennepin, Oklahoma, Kevin Todd Harmon and wife Penny of Wynnewood, Oklahoma; Sisters, Carolyn McDaniel and husband Gary, Joyce Bittner; Grandchildren, Ashley Cannon and husband Adam of Purcell, Oklahoma, Eddie Harmon and wife Catherine of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Harley Harmon-Ronk and husband Deryk of Ada, Oklahoma, Chance Harmon of Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Colton Harmon and wife Madison of Noble, Oklahoma, Caitlin Harmon of Wynnewood, Oklahoma; Great-Grandchildren, Thalia "Mili" Antonio of Purcell, Oklahoma, Audrey Cannon of Purcell, Oklahoma, Emily Harmon of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Ryeker and Logyn Ronk of Ada, Oklahoma, Claire Harmon of Noble, Oklahoma; and a host of other friends and family.
Rosetta was preceded in death by husbands, Donald Ray Harmon and Grant Walker; Parents, Oscar Lloyd Corley and Goldie Mae (Whitson) Corley; Grandparents, Huey and Virgie Mae Whitson; and numerous siblings and family.
Services for Rosetta will be on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Wynnewood, Oklahoma with Keith Huitt officiating and under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. Visitation for Rosetta will be at Wooster Funeral Home in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. with family to accept friends from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
