FORT WORTH - Roxanne Louise Taylor 'Nana', 69, devoted mother, sister, daughter, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 10 2024.
Memorial Service: 12:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2024, in Greenwood's Live Oak Chapel, 3100 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth Tx., 76107. Reception: 1:00 p.m. in the Live Oak Room at Greenwood.
Roxanne was born on January 21, 1955, in Fort Benning, Georgia to Ann Volk and Tommy Hixson. She grew up and attended high school in Kermit, TX where she was a member of the marching band and often spoke fondly about the lifelong friendships she made in school.
Roxanne loved her family more than anything but she especially loved her four grandchildren. She was very proud to carry the title of 'Nana' for over 20 years. Her grandchildren were her life.
Roxanne was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Volk and her father, Tommy Hixson.
She is survived by her son, Brandon Taylor and her daughter, Tiffany McKnight, along with their spouses, LeShauna Taylor and Brent McKnight. Her cherished grandchildren, Braden Taylor, Alyssa Taylor, Grace McKnight and Caden McKnight. Siblings, Stacia Meals, Regina Ingram, Kippy Hixson, and Derek Hixson. As well as many nieces and nephews.
