Roy Edward Anger, 83, originally of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, passed away peacefully at his home, with family in Cary, North Carolina, on September 28, 2025. Born October 14, 1941, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, to Alex and Doreen Anger, he was one of nine brothers and sisters, survived by Ruth (Gerald) Cheshire and predeceased by: Norma (Bill) Maynard, Harold (2005), Gail Rock (2013), Bill (2021) (Marion), Frank (2014) (Judy), Bob (2025) (Eveyln).

It was in Windsor, where he met his beloved bride, Claudette Pauline Riberdy (d. 2020). Together they are survived by their two wonderful children, Shelly Lynn Duffy (Greg) and Shawn Edward Anger (Micki), as well as his four cherished grandchildren: Preston, Kinsey, Dana, and Drew. His family was his greatest joy, and he took immense pride in their accomplishments and the love they shared.

Roy proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in North Carolina and Thailand; an experience that shaped his discipline, resilience, and lifelong sense of service.

Following military service, Roy graduated from the University of Windsor as a Metallurgical Engineer and built a career as a metallurgist in the automotive industry later pursuing entrepreneurship, as proud owner of R&S Resources, an Aluminum Scrap Metal business that reflected his strong work ethic and commitment to building lasting relationships in his community. Work and life took him around the U.S., living in Fennville, MI, Fort Wayne, IN, Fort Myers, FL, Southport, FL and Cary, NC. Claudette and Roy made many lasting friendships along the way that they cherished and enjoyed spending time with friends and family, golfing, at the tiki bar and playing cards.

Roy will be remembered for his dedication, always ready to help-a-hand, integrity, and devotion to family, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A service to celebrate his life will be in late Spring/Summer of 2026 in Windsor, Canada.
