Roy Woodard Baker

Roy Woodard Baker, age 77, of Harrisville, WV, died July 12, 2012 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born September 8, 1934 at Hushers Run, Pennsboro , WV, the son of the late Okey and Lettie Elder Baker. Roy is survived by sons Ricky Judson, David Lane, Roy Scott(Candace McCloy), and Okey Steven Baker, all of Harrisville; sister, Wilma (Virgil) Bunner, Pennsboro, WV; Brothers, Dencil Dean Baker (Linda), Ellenboro, WV, Rollin Baker (Mina), Pennsboro, WV; grandchildren, Greggory Scott, Dustin Lee, Sierra Nicole and Holly Nicole; sisters-in-law, June Baker, Ellenboro, WV, Betty Baker, Pennsboro, WV, Linda Baker, Smithville, WV, and Sharon Baker, Pennsboro, WV, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Olin Baker, Okey Baker Jr, Edgel Baker, Donzel Baker, Kester Baker; sisters, Erma Smith and Rena Baker. Funeral services will be held Monday July 16, 2012 at 1:00 at McCullough Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro with Rev. Terry McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethany Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
