It is with great sadness and much love that we mourn the passing of our beloved Roy Alexander Cordero, 46, of Owego, NY who passed away on October 9, 2023. He is survived by the loves of his life, Beth Hoffman and two children, Colby & Charlee, also his parents, Rolando & Margarita Cordero, brother Gregg Cordero (Rosanne), as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Roy graduated Amsterdam High School in 1996 and continued onto Cobleskill and SUNY Binghamton school of Business. He worked passionately his entire career as a Mortgage Broker, and most recently working full-time at Twin Tier Mortgage in Elmira, NY. Although we all know he was a "squirrel looking for a nut" and loved to work, what brought him the most joy was his children and being a coach. He was a volunteer with the Owego Little League, TCYSA, Hiawatha Soccer club and involved in many others. He was loved by and will be greatly missed by the Owego & surrounding communities.
Funeral Services for Roy will be held on Thursday, October 19 at 11 AM at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Tioga Cemetery, Owego. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home on Wednesday, October 18 from 3-6 PM. In lieu of flowers, please send expressions of sympathy in his memory to Owego Little League, PO Box 2, Owego, NY 13827.
