Roy Corricelli, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 9, 2019, at McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center in Springfield, Oregon.

Roy was born on September 27, 1935, in Washington, D.C., to George and Mildred (Snow) Corricelli, one of five children. He was raised and resided for a time in Massachusetts and Rhode Island then would later lived in several different states where he worked various jobs throughout his life. Roy was a man who could do anything. He worked in sales for a time and was the very first "Mr. Peanut" mascot many years ago – an accomplishment he often referred to. He did construction and drywall for most of his life and lived in Riverside, California, for many years. In 2004, Roy and his wife Kathleen then moved to Springfield, Oregon until the time of his passing.

Roy was a music lover who enjoyed rock and roll all the way, and even was a DJ for a time. He loved fishing, playing black jack at the casinos and cards at home. With his Italian heritage, Roy loved to cook. He was famous for his 3-day spaghetti sauce and was a big seafood lover who had earned his appreciation of seafood during his years living on the East coast.

Roy honored his Catholic traditions and loved his 4 daughters and family above all else.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Bobby Corricelli and his wife of 43 years, Kathleen, who passed away on February 26, 2018.

Roy is survived by, daughters: Gina Maria Dutra and her husband Don, Donna Lynne Corricelli, Cathryn Ann Corricelli, and DeAnna Dawn Gimby and her husband Jeff;

9 grandchildren: Maria LaVasseur, Katie Ferrara, Corey Ferrara, Steven Corricelli, Hillary Corricelli, Christopher Corricelli, Jacob Williams, Hanah Williams, and Elijah Williams;

5 great-grandchildren: Cayden Dixon, Tristan Dixon, Ava Ferrara, Mariah Corricelli, Angie Artega, with one more on the way;

Siblings: Kay Rita Corricelli, Wayne Corricelli, Diane Velazquez, and Barbara Burton.

Visitation will be held from 8:00-9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary in Riverside, California, with burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park.
