Roy Dean Davis, who resided near Cecil, Arkansas, died Saturday, November 15, 2025, at his home. He was born on November 7, 1953, in Oakland, California, to the late Vernon Roy Davis and Audine (Lowe) Davis. He was 72 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Peggy Nelms.

For several years, Roy worked in the oilfields for Stephen's Production Company and worked in the sales department for Lowe's in Fort Smith. He enjoyed collecting and selling guns, working on old watches, antiques, and taking care of his dogs. He was of Baptist faith. He was loved by his family very much and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 20th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Bro. Buddy Corbell officiating. Burial will follow at Island Cemetery, located northeast of Lavaca, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Pam (Underwood) Davis; his children, Markey Davis of Booneville, Roy Dean Davis, II and Nikki of Van Buren, and Christy Davis of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three sisters, JoAnn Gunzenhauser of Ozark, Beverly Appleton of Charleston, and Rhonda Smothers and husband Stinger of Charleston; his mother-in-law, Alene Underwood of Cecil; (6) grandchildren, Noah Davis, Tina Davis and husband Corey Cummins, Garrett Davis, Austin Davis, Zander Davis, and Miles Davis; and (5) great-grandchildren, Greyson, Jensen, Styles, Carlisle, and MarcEzra.

Pallbearers are Wayne Martin, Keith Sutherland, Tim Waterbury, Stinger Smothers, David Berkshire, and Jack Triplett.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
