Roy enjoyed a career of 32 years at the University of Vermont before his retirement in 2012. Upon retirement, he and Kathy chose the Low Country as their home. A devout Catholic, he volunteered his time at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, as well as with Sun City Safety and Service. He also continued his commitment to giving by participating in the Red Cross platelet donor program in both Vermont and South Carolina. Beyond his service, Roy cherished the many opportunities he had to travel with his family, creating lasting memories together.
