Roy Jarman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Faries Funeral Directors and Crematorium, Inc. on Jan. 15, 2026.
Roy Lee Jarman II, 54, of Smyrna, Delaware passed away Monday, January 12th, 2026, while at home.

Roy is the son of Roy Jarman Sr. and Linda Loller.

He worked on the family farm while attending Smyrna High School. He loved playing on the Smyrna High School football and wrestling teams. After high school, he enjoyed working in the horse industry--he loved animals. He married Daniele Molok and relocated to San Diego, California while serving in the Navy. While out in California, they started their family having two beautiful children: Mitchell and Kaitlyne. Upon leaving the Navy, he and his family relocated back to Delaware. He worked as a mason for Kent Construction and several other companies for many years.

Roy enjoyed surf fishing, cliff diving, hunting, seafood cookouts, blues, jazz and rock-n-roll music, watching football and NASCAR. Hunting was a big part of Roy's life; he taught his children to hunt using shotgun and crossbow. He has touched so many people in his life. He really enjoyed coaching Pee Wee football, tee-ball and wrestling. He loved working with Kaitlyne practicing her gymnastics as well. Roy was known for giving nicknames to everyone.

Roy is preceded in death by Roy Jarman, Sr, his father. He is survived by his Mother, Linda Loller, his Stepfather, Edward Loller, and his two children: Mitchell Jarman and Kaitlyne Jarman (Hall). Roy is also survived by three grandchildren: Leia Jarman, Abel Hall and Liam Hall and his siblings: Garrett Jarman, Audra Jarman and Stacy Jarman. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 17th, 2026, from 10 am to 11am, funeral services will follow at 11am at Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main Street in Smyrna. Private burial service will be at Glenwood Cemetery in Smyrna at a later date.
