Mr Roy Kenneth Langhans

.Roy Kenneth Langhans, a man of sharp wit, fierce independence, and generous to a fault passed away on December 27, 2024. Born on April 12,1942, Roy was a lover of stories, numbers, and baseball. His passion for baseball, both as a spectator and a player in his cherished APBA tabletop baseball community, was unmatched.
A true adventurer at heart, Roy traveled widely, enjoying the beauty of the world. He loved seeing new places and enjoyed exploring hidden gems.
Roy's love of music was as unique as he was, with a love for quirky folk tunes that painted vivid stories. His playlists were as diverse as his experiences, and each song was a conversation waiting to happen.
Roy was a 20-year veteran in the Army. He served proudly to protect his country both in active duty and the reserves. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He received a Meritorious Service Medal and twice received Army Commendation Medals as well as a National Defense Service Medal and twice received ARCAM.
Roy is survived by Michael and Hessena Langhans of Huntington Beach, CA, Melanie Langhans of Atkinson, NH, and his two cherished grandsons, Brayden and Kian. His memory will live on in every baseball season, every road less traveled, and every offbeat melody that finds its way into our hearts.
A celebration of Roy's life will be held in the coming months where friends and family will be invited to share stories, memories, and thoughts.
