Roy Jeffry Little

Roy Jeffry Little, 53, of Mineral Wells, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, in Weatherford.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, August 6, 2018 at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford. Burial will follow at Community Greenwood Cemetery, in Weatherford. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday evening at the funeral home.

Roy was born on August 28, 1964, in Weatherford, to Robert and Bobbie Little. Roy was a 1982 graduate of Brock High School with honors. He married Cynthia Jo Delk on April 4, 1992. Roy proudly served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard Charlie Company 36th Infantry Division where he received a Bronze Star V-Device. He was a member of the Weatherford VFW. 

He enjoyed outdoors activities including hunting and collecting Indian Arrowheads. He was known to engage others in “humorous provocations.” Most of all, Roy will be remembered for being a loving and devoted husband and uncle who will be greatly missed.

Roy is survived by his wife, Cynthia; his siblings, Gale (Jim) Lok, Jonnie (Monsy) Little, Nancy (JR) Henley, Cinde (Clay) Watson, and Barbara Slawson; his niece, Cassie Light whom he helped raise; numerous other beloved nieces and nephews; and by his brothers and sisters-in-law, George (Jennifer) Delk, Marshall (Christy) Delk, and Thedalou Tucker.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents.
