Roy Lee Navy, 76, of Lowell, passed away on January 6, 2026. Born on November 8, 1949, in Gaston, North Carolina, Roy was a devoted father and a simple man who found joy in the little things in life. He had a hardworking spirit, spending much of his career delivering bread to local grocery stores.
Left to cherish Roy's memories are his beloved daughter, Brandi Navy (Herb); son, Israel Navy; sister, Robbie Barnhill (Edward); nephew, Chris Barnhill (Molly Norton). He lived a life grounded in simplicity, often embracing the craft of woodworking, though he never claimed any hobbies outside of it.
Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Page Navy; parents, Robert and Harriett Navy; stepdaughter, Elizabeth Wheeler.
A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm on Friday, January 16, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Sam Barnette. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
Roy's kindness and simple ways will be missed by all who knew him.
