Roy Nielsen Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Roy devoted his life to public service, which included, but was not limited to, his work as an Air Traffic Controller, Firefighter, and Security Supervisor.
Roy is survived by his wife of 46 years, Christy; daughters, Shana Barton-Nielsen and Leslie (David) Palmer; grandchildren, Zach Nielsen, Alex Barton, Anna Barton, Hailey Palmer, Morgan Palmer, and Brynn Palmer; sisters, Jackie (Douglas) Bakken and Deb (Bob) Belquist; and many other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 3rd at 11am at White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Ave., Apple Valley. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will be Lebanon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to charitable organizations dedicated to supporting public safety.and to the Tunnels to Tower link on the obituary post.
