Mr. Roy Anthony "Snuffy" Pangle, age 48, of
Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at his residence.
Anthony was born on March 30, 1977, in
Dalton, Georgia. Raised in foster care, he endured a difficult childhood that shaped his resilience and strength. Despite early hardships, Anthony persevered and graduated from Northwest High School in 1995. He honorably served his country in the United States Army for two years, a source of pride throughout his life.
Anthony worked in construction and various maintenance trades and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Acworth, Georgia. Above all, he loved his children deeply and took pride in being their father and grandfather.
Like many who faced great struggles, Anthony battled addiction during his life. His family finds comfort in knowing that he is now at peace and finally at rest.

Anthony was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Hooker Davidson; father, Henry Worley; brother, Michael Ridings; and grandparents, Charlie and Belle Hooker.
He is survived by his wife, Tommie Lynn Jones Pangle of
Dalton, GA; his children, Abigail Nicole Pangle of
Acworth, GA, Laurelann Pangle of
Cartersville, GA, Tommy Anthony Pangle of
Calhoun, GA, Rayland Pangle of
Dalton, GA, Michael Anthony Pangle of
Cleveland, TN, and Amy Nicole Oberfoell of Owatonna, Minesota; foster parents, Jim and Judy Ledford of
Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Kaiden Anthony Monroe Millwood, Silas Roy Alexander Pangle, and Delilah Erica Lynn Pangle; sisters, Tammy Johnson of
Dalton, GA, and Lovonna Flowers of
Rocky Face, GA; brothers, Hershel Pangle of Corbin, KY, and Henry Worley of Jellico, TN; son-in-law, Noah Avery Millwood of
Acworth, GA; cousins, Eddie and B.J. Bramblett of
Dalton, GA; special friend, Neal Ray of Taylorsville, GA; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many other relatives.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Roy Anthony "Snuffy" Pangle will be held Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel, with his cousin, Brother Eddie Bramblett, officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his mother and family at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery and Mausoleum. Tommy Anthony Pangle, Noah Millwood, Evan Millwood, Alex Coffey, Christopher Bramblett, Hunter Hixson, and Charles Saucedo will honor him by serving as pallbearers. Military graveside honors will be provided by the Dalton American Legion Post #112.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, and again after 12:00 p.m. Thursday until the service hour.
