Ruben Cancel Obituary
His early years were spent in gyms where he passionately practiced weightlifting. He and Debra met not long after his arrival in Tallahassee and had three sons over the years. His greatest joy was taking family trips involving motorcycle rides through the mountains and national parks. He was also a huge animal lover, caring for many dogs and other animals over the years.
Benji is preceded in death by his parents, Ruben and Ramonita Cancel Sr., and two young sisters who passed in Puerto Rico when he was a baby.
He is survived by his loving wife Debra, and their sons; Dusty, Ruben, and Danny, stepson, William Thigpen, as well as his beloved granddaughter, Isabella (Izzy).
