Mass of Christian Burial for Ruben Morales Cano, 53, of Grand Saline, is scheduled for 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at St. Celestine Catholic Church, Grand Saline, with Father Michael Ledesma officiating, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Ruben passed away December 8, 2025, in Grand Saline. He was born May 1, 1972, in Santa Maria Del Rio, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to Teofilo and Maria del Carmen Cano Morales. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Antonio Morales Cano; and sister, Ma Asuncion Morales Cano.
Survivors include his two sons, Ruben Rios and Levi Rios both of Grand Saline; mother of his children, Minerva Rios Martinez; five brothers and sisters, Susana Morales Cano, Demetrio Morales Cano, Daniel Morales Cano, Victor Morales Cano, and Guadalupe Morales Cano; and numerous other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be held from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, at Bartley Funeral Home.
La misa de funeral cristiano para Rubén Morales Cano, de 53 años, de Grand Saline, está programada para la 13:00 horas del miércoles 17 de diciembre de 2025 en la Iglesia Católica de St. Celestine, Grand Saline, con el padre Michael Ledesma oficiando, bajo la dirección de Bartley Funeral Home.
Ruben falleció el 8 de diciembre de 2025 en Grand Saline. Nació el 1 de mayo de 1972 en Santa María del Río, San Luis Potosí, México, hijo de Teófilo y María del Carmen Cano Morales. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres; su hermano, Antonio Morales Cano; y su hermana, Ma Asuncion Morales Cano.
