Ruby Mae Adcock, 82, of Sandusky, Ohio went home to be with the Lord peacefully on the Morning of Saturday, July 12th, 2025 at Fisher Titus Hospital surrounded by her family.
Ruby was born February 24th, 1943 in Anderson, SC to the late Annie (Davis) & Jay Stowers.
Ruby enjoyed watching her westerns, daily soap operas, and let's not forget about the news channels. She was full of love, laughter. She loved listening to her gospel music, especially choir music, her daily devotions, and her Bible.
Ruby was a proud member of New Hope Church of God In Christ, under the pastoral care of her older brother, Supt. Latham Stowers. At New Hope COGIC, she was heavily involved with music ministry as choir director until her health wouldn't allow her to. Ruby loved praising the Lord and being among the saints.
She leaves to cherish her love and legacy of laughter, her siblings, Supt. Latham (Ermie) Stowers, Mattie McGill, & Patty Stowers, all of Sandusky, Ohio; 7 Children, Donald Stowers, Patrice Adcock, Lillian (Yank) Haney, Tracy Adcock, Troy Adcock, & Isaiah Adcock, all of Sandusky; Marvin (Beatrice) Adcock, of Dayton, Ohio; 20 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren; her Last Living Aunt, Mattie Clark, a host of cousins, nieces, & nephews.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Jay & Annie (Davis) Stowers; three Children, Robert, Jill, & Edward; siblings, Ann Young, Mary Jones, Ralph Stowers, Tommy Stowers, & Elder Tim Stowers.
Friends may call Monday, July 28, 2025 from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 12pm at Ebenezer Baptist Church 1215 Pierce St. Sandusky, Ohio 44870. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, Sandusky is assisting the family with arrangements.
