Crum - Ruby Lynette Crum, age 80, of Hilliard, Florida, passed away on August 1, 2025. Born on February 18, 1945, Lynette was known as an avid gardener and enjoyed spending her time outside tending to her flowers. When not outside, Lynette spent her time doing arts and crafts and even won several 1st place ribbons in the Northeast County Fair for an assortment of crafts, ranging from fruit baskets to extensive crafts built from everyday materials. Lynette was wed to her husband, Everett Crum on June 18, 1967, and spent a wonderful 58 years together. They loved to travel and spent time out west in Oklahoma while Everett worked for the FFA and attended many bluegrass music shows. To Everett, Lynette was as precious as the flowers she grew. Lynette will always be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, sister, and caretaker to close family members. Lynette was preceded in death by her father, Fred Lloyd, mother, Beatrice Lloyd and sister, Julia Johnson. Lynette is survived by husband, Everett Crum; brother, Larry Lloyd; two sisters, Rita Faye Lloyd and Lucille Murray; and several nephews and nieces. The tribute above was prepared by Lynette's loving family. A Celebration of Lynette's Life will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The arrangements are under the care and direction of Nassau Funeral Home, 541720 US-1, Callahan, Florida 32011, 904-879-1770. Visit www.nassaufh.com to sign the family's guest book.
