Ruby Faye Long

Ruby Faye Long, a citizen of the Chickasaw Nation, born on August 20, 1953 in Oklahoma City to Adam Charles Walker, and Viola Julia Miller, passed from this life on March 27, 2026. Her life will be celebrated at a wake on Tuesday, March 31 from 5:00pm-7:00pm and a memorial service on Wednesday, April 1 at 10 am in Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Ada.
Ruby attended Byng School and nursing school, becoming a CNA. She eventually retired from health care with the Chickasaw Nation. Ruby loved going to garage sales and going fishing, horseshoes, gardening and the casino. She especially loved her grand kids, great grand kids, and spending time with her sons.
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, sister Frankie Miller, sister Peggy Stowe and a nephew, Patrick Allen Marris.
She is succeeded by her family---son Bailey Walker and DeAnna and their children Adam Swayde Walker, Adrian Blayne Walker, and Tyler Don Walker, son Billy Clark and his children Courtney, Stonie, Nikki, and Zack, son Michael Walker and children Alissa, Emily, Shawnee, and Viola, son Leston Long and daughter Jaelyn, and Billy Reid and (her) grand dog Marley Joe, all of Ada. She is also survived by siblings Gary Walker, Adam Lynn Walker, Johnny Lee Walker, Lois Bell, and Betty Young. She also had 15 Great Grand children
A wake will be held on Tuesday, from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm at Phillips Funeral Home, Ada, 123 East 13th Street. A memorial will be held on Wednesday, April 1 at 10:00 am in Phillips Funeral Home Chapel.
