Ruby D. Moore

Ruby Moore, age 91, of Wheeling, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at her home.

Ruby Dell, daughter of Monroe and Lula (Coughran) Hill, was born August 29, 1932, in Caddo Gap, Arkansas. On May 1, 1952, she married Lathan T. Moore.
Ruby was a homemaker and loving mother. She also worked as a beautician in her home until her retirement.
Ruby deeply cherished spending time with her family, particularly enjoying moments with her grandchildren.
In addition to her love for her family time, Ruby had a love for bowling and barbecues, but her true passion was fishing.
Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Lathan Thomas Moore of the home; two children, Terry Wayne Moore and wife, Virginia of Kansas City, Kansas, and Michael Alan Moore, Sr. of Wheeling; son-in-law, Ernie Gaede of Las Vagas, Nevada; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren; one brother, Alan Hill of Oklahoma; one sister, Mary Shelton of Texas; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Brenda Sue Gaede; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Moore; five sisters, Billie, Mill, Lois, Betty, and Jorita; two brothers, Mutt and Dub; and brother-in-law, Leon Shelton.
