Ruby Nell Smith

Ruby Nell Faulk Smith, age 77, of Crossett, Arkansas, passed away on February 21, 2025. She was born on April 15, 1947 to her parents, James Aaron and Lou Nell Prescott Faulk. Ruby was a devoted Christian, avid bible reader, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Hamburg, Arkansas.
In her free time, she enjoyed crafting, coloring, and watching her favorite television shows. In Ruby's younger years, she was a phenomenal dancer. Her greatest love in life was spending time with her family and blessing them with gifts.
She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved first husband, Charles Tanksley Jr.; her late husband, James Larry Smith; One sister, Sandra Lee Lowe and one grandson, Sam Tanksley.
Ruby leaves behind two sons, James Kevin Tanksley (Donna) and Charles Dwayne Tanksley, both of Hamburg, Arkansas; One brother, Jim Neal Faulk of North Crossett, Arkansas; One sister, Patsy Diane Williamson of Carthage, Texas; four grandchildren, three great- grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Flemming officiating.
Interment is in Promise Land Cemetery located at 765 Ashley Rd 70, Hamburg, AR, 71646 under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR. Pallbearers are Donnie Tanksley, James Bergeron, John Elmore, and David Tanksley.
