Ruby S Whitlock

Ruby Whitlock has been received into the loving arms of her savior Jesus Christ. She is met in glory by her husband of 47 years Charles and her son Terry.

Ruby was originally from Thomaston Georgia and was a long time resident of Slidell LA. She spent her last few years with her son Larry in Pennsylvania but wasn't happy about the cold winters.

Ruby was a truly generous soul and one of the hardest working and most dedicated members of the Assembly of God church in Slidell. When she wasn't serving the church she was helping her neighbors.

A true matriarch, Ruby loved her family. She is survived by her son Larry and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren She will be remembered fondly by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral service will be held at Revival Temple Church.

28521 Walker Rd. South

Walker LA. On Thursday May 19th.

Visitation will be at 10:00 AM with the service commencing at 11:00.

Private Interment will be at Revival Temple cemetery at a later time.
