Ruby Mae Wolf

Ruby Mae Johnson (Faulk) Wolf of Boiling Spring Lakes N.C. was born on 2/3/45 and left her earthly home escorted by a host of the finest Angels to her eternal heavenly home on March 19, 2025.
Ruby was a woman who lived life on her own terms. She was known for her sharp-wit and straightforward manner. She never met a stranger and could chat for hours about things she loved: cats, books, gardening and her family. She could turn a quick grocery store trip into a social event.
Ruby worked in sales and service for most of her life but valued her employment with the Brunswick County Nutrition Services with SBHS. She loved those kids and spoke of them often.
Ruby was preceded in death by her Father James Allen Johnson, her Mother Florence Junie Johnson, Sister Peggy Rollins, Son Joel Douglas Faulk, Father of her 3 Children Jack Douglas Faulk and her loving Husband of 33 years Gerald E. Wolf. Ruby leaves behind, Sister Brenda Ann James, Daughters Susan Faulk Hartman (Ben), Vanessa Faulk Cribb (Jimmy) and Robert E. Horn whom she loved as a Son.
She loved her Grandchildren and once said in humor, maybe, "If she could have had her Grandchildren first she would have never had kids of her own". She leaves behind Daniel Jackson (Kate), Jack Faulk, Christopher Faulk, Marinda Newman (Joe), Michelle Kaplan (Ben), Courtney Shannon (Jason), April Cribb, and Brandy Sellers (Mike).
She loved her Great Grand Children and felt privileged to have had the honor to spend time with them, Alexander, Ashlyn, Madison, Kynlee, Carson, Asa and Ellie.
Ruby made many life-long friends along the way. Her most treasured friendship and partner in crime was Jean Lanier who preceded her in death.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
Services will be held at Wilmington Funeral and Cremation on Sunday April 6th at 2:00 pm led by her dear friends Jeff Register and Tina Smith providing music and reflections.. Share memories and condolences by visiting the "Tribute Wall".
