Rudolph J Sprunk, age 98, passed away April 26, 2025 in Albuquerque, NM. Although he was born in Kansas, he was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM.
He served honorably and proudly for his Country in the U.S. Coast Guard from February 20. 1943 - January 19, 1946. WWII 1943-1946
Rodolph was preceded in death by his two sons, Robert and David, and Granddaughter Michelle Cangiolosi.
He is survived by his wife of 78 years, Priscilla Gurule Sprunk, daughter-in-law Suzy Sprunk, Grandson Steven R. Sprunk, great-grandchildren Ashley Trapp, Kaylee Cangiolosi, Essence Sprunk, Great great-great-grandchildren Debra Jimenez, Jesse Jimenez, and Jude Collinsoll of Albuquerque, NM.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
The Church service will be Monday, May 19, 2025, at 10:00 am, Queen of Heaven Parish, followed by burial at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
