Rudy Monroe Obituary

Rudy was a devout Christian, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and good friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Rudy retired after 45 years of service from HEB. He enjoyed a simple life of fishing, sports, music, gardening and most of all spending time with his family, He will be greatly missed.
Rudy is survived by his wife of 50 years, Norma Aguilar Monroe; his daughters Celeste and Noelle Monroe; his sons Adam Monroe and Patrick Wallace; Rudy is also survived by his four sisters Rita Jimenez, Teri Flores( Eddie), Christina Murillo (Carlos), and Melba Rios (Martin); and three brothers Joe Monroe (Vickie), Ruben Monroe (Tracie), and Daniel Monroe (Patty).
He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Dolores Monroe.
The Family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to the Hospice of South Texas Dornburg Center for their compassionate care.
Rudy will be honored with a chapel service beginning at 10:00 a.m. following a visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Grace Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 15, 2025. Graveside service to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Rudy was more than a friend to me, he was more like family. I was honored to call him cuz even tho we weren´t. To say that he will be missed is an understatement. He was definitely a good person. Rest in Peace cuz.
