Passed away peacefully on November 16th, 2025. He was born on June 10, 1947, to Roger and Mildred Bianchi in Midvale, Utah. Russell was a graduate of Hillcrest High School and the University of Utah.
After college, Russell moved to California to pursue his career as a CPA in a big city and to escape the cold weather and snow. He resided in Huntington Beach, California for the past 25 + years. He had a dedicated career with Boeing International spanning over 40 years. While at Boeing he was involved with NASA - Space flight awareness team.
Servant of God and devoted member in the Catholic Church. Russell enjoyed singing in the choir and member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Costa Mesa, California. He loved traveling, visiting family in Utah, and going to movies and museums.
If you knew Russell, you knew he was a very simple man. He enjoyed keeping in touch with family and friends with phone calls or emails. We all looked forward to his emails, letters or phone calls on birthdays and holidays. We will deeply miss his weekly email rants of how the Utah football team played –most of the time, he thought the coach should be fired.
Russell never married but was a wonderful brother, uncle and friend. He is now reunited with his parents, brother Ron and sister-in-law Kathy. He is survived by stepsisters Nancy (Paul) Brown and Sharon (Dennis) Kresser, as well as nieces, nephews and friends. We would like to express our love and gratitude to Sherrie Bowker and her family for their continued support and love for Russell. He will be deeply missed by all that had the opportunity to know him.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 5th at 11:00 am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 7405 So. Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT 84084. Visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to Mass.
