Funeral Services for Russell Elwood Cuevas, age 49, of Necaise Crossing, MS, who passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025, will be held Monday, July 14, 2025, at 2:30 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Pallbearers for the service will include: Steven Barnes, Tanner Broughton, Steve Ellitt, Dan Kirschten, Bobby Cagle, Dusty Anderson, and Scotty Holcomb. Alternate pallbearers will include: Cline Ladner, Judd Brooke, and B.B. Barnes.

Visitation will be Monday, July 14, 2025 from 12:00 pm until 2:30 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Standard Sand Hill Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Josh Daniels will officiate the service, and will be assisted at the graveside by Bro. Arthur Lee.

Left to cherish his memory are his Momma and Daddy, Amy and Larry Flynt; his beloved wife, Casey; his daughter, Maddie (Tanner); his three grandsons, that he loved beyond measure, Parker, Preston, and Porter; his birth parents, Judith Ann Cuevas and the late Dennis Dan Cuevas, Jr.; his brothers and sisters, O'Neill (Janice), Chris (Charmaine), Marsha (Jamie), and Regina (Bryan); his numerous nieces and nephews, along with a lifetime collection of friends he called family.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Doyle; his sister, Pamela Ann; and his brother in law, Russell.

Russell never met a stranger, and was always the life of the party. He always had a bigger than life attitude. He made the world a better place, and we are the lucky ones because he loved each of us.

The family invites everyone to attend a fellowship after the services, which will be held at the Camelia Barn - 27360 Hwy 603, Perkinston, MS.
