Russell Leola Davis, age 93, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, in Marion, Illinois.
Born on January 13, 1932, in Rose, Oklahoma, Russell was the daughter of Russell Bohrn and Helen Dodd. She married Dewain Davis and devoted her life to her family as a loving homemaker. Russell found joy in cooking, reading, and spending time with those she loved. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life, and she was a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Marion.
Russell is survived by her son, Roger Joe (Marie) Harrison; her daughters, Melody Ann Ming and Tina Davis; grandchildren, Edward Hale Jr, Mandy Hale Robert, Denise Socia, Roger Harrison Jr, Brandon Davis, Amber Segovia, Colton Blackburn and Samantha Craig; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dewain; her sons, Earl Ray West and Billy Jack West; her daughter, Barbara Gean Hale; and her son-in-law, Tommy Ming.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Blue Funeral Home, under the direction of Binkley Ross. In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Marion.
