A memorial service celebrating the life of Rusty Holtzclaw will be Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Michael Rollinson officiating. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Saturday prior to the service.

Rusty was born September 3, 1949, in Ringgold, Louisiana and entered into rest January 9, 2024, in Minden, Louisiana. Rusty served his country in the United States Marines. He was a graduate of Louisiana Tech and a member of the TKE fraternity. Rusty was also a property and casualty insurance agent for many years and also owner and operator of his landscaping and lawncare business.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Holtzclaw, son, Warren Slade Holtzclaw, stepfather, Marvin Ford, stepmother, Erline Holtzclaw, and half-sister, Regina Laurant.

He is survived by his wife, Ronni Holtzclaw of Minden; mother, Mattie Ford of Minden; brothers, Mickey Holtzclaw of Minden and Jay Ford of Dallas, TX; stepsisters, Arlene Holtzclaw Oliver of Saline and Angela Rollinson Hight of Minden; half-brothers, John Rollinson of Blair, Oklahoma and Marty Rollinson of Natchitoches;  grandchildren, Khloe Smith and Xander Holtzclaw; niece, Angela Lilly and her children Morgan and Peyton of Minden and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners.

The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph Hospice, Stat Home Health and Allen Mosley for the excellent care given our loved one.
