Russell Hulsizer Obituary

Born in Lewisburg on December 17, 1939, he was the son of the late Samuel and Sarah (Neitz) Hulsizer. He was married to Deborah Hulsizer. Together they celebrated 36 years of marriage.
Russ was a 1958 graduate of Milton High School and served in the Airforce from 1958 to 1962. He retired from Shippers Car Line in 2002 after 38 years of service.
He loved being outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping. He especially loved going to Canada fishing with friends and family. He was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church in Milton.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons Michael Hulsizer and his wife Mindy, and Harry "Steve" Hulsizer, and a grandson Tyler Hulsizer. He also had a very special niece and some great nephews that he loved dearly, including Cheri Sowards and her husband Scott.
He was preceded in death by a brother Harry Hulsizer and a sister Mary Louise Kock.
Friends and relatives will be received on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Shaw Funeral Home 400 N. Front St. Milton. A memorial service will begin at 2:00.
