Russell Norman Matlock

Russell Norman Matlock, 74 years of age, of Gilbert, PA, born in Blairstown, NJ on May 11, 1948, to Lewis and Evelyn Matlock, passed away on January 23, 2022, in Stroudsburg, PA. He was a machinist for S. Johnson & son, Belvidere, NJ, and various other companies until retirement in 2016. He was a proficient horseback rider, who loved riding. His dogs, Daisy, Spike, LB and Tammy were his special friends.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Dorothy E. Matlock, three daughters, Genia Matlock Ross, husband, Bobby of Ogdensburg, NJ, Ruschele Griffin of Georgetown, FL, Barbara Matlock of Stroudsburg, PA, one son Russell P. Matlock, wife Katie of Newton, NJ. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren.
There are no services at this time. Russell is entrusted to the care of Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown, NJ 07825.
