I just learned of Rusty passing. He and I were Sigma Nu brothers at Lafayette College in the `70s. Rusty was smart, quick-witted, and a fun guy to be around. Even though we did not cross paths again after Lafayette, I have many great memories of him.

Very sorry to see a great Engineer gone. There is no surprise he became an engineer, he was always the great inventor. I biggest memory I have is when he built w go-cart and I built a go-cart. We went to the school and raced on the track. His was faster and he was winning. But mine was stronger. His wheel broke, I passed him and won. I'm sure if we raced again I would have lost, he was too smart and would have fixed the problem.

Rusty was one of a handful of musicians who included, inspired and encouraged me musically as a young teen. He has been a lighthouse for me, and although I didn't see him often in my adulthood, I cannot believe this pillar of a person is gone from this Earth. I love him and have nothing but positive memories of him and his incredible musical contributions.

Rusty was a most valued and highly regarded member of our prostate cancer support group. His knowledge and command of disease and treatment protocols was unmatched. At times I thought he knew more than some of the clinicians. The support and courage he provided to his brothers was unrivaled. We will miss him.
