It was such a joy to be Mr Russ´ neighbor. Halloween night was a treat for our kids when we´d go to his house and his dog would answer the door with its jockey costume on. Russ was always there to lend a helping hand and always made sure we and our kids were safe. He will always be remembered by us.

Knowing you are in a far better place, makes the pain a little easier. I know by rights you are my uncle, but you will always be my brother. We shared a lot of good times in the early years and ate a lot of the same dirt with them ponies. Until we meet again, love you brother.
