Mr. Russell L. Stewart, age 59 of Blackshear, Ga. passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Memorial Health in Savannah, Ga.
Mr. Stewart was born August 23, 1965, in Savannah, Ga. to the late Willis and Mary Copeland Stewart. He had made his home in Blackshear, Ga. for the past 18 years and owned and operated Winlectric Company. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, being involved with his church family, and helping others. Mr. Stewart was a member of City Boulevard Church of Christ in Waycross, Ga.
Survivors include:

Children: Kayla Marie Stewart
Morgan Breanne Thomas and husband Matthew of Waycross, Ga.
Dallas Capri Stewart of Blackshear, Ga.
Austin Peyton Stewart of Blackshear, Ga.
Madison Elizabeth Stewart of Douglas, Ga.
Alexis Jaye Stewart of Blackshear, Ga.
3 Brothers: Rodney Stewart and wife Jan of Hinesville, Ga.
Richard Stewart of Montgomery, Al.
Roland Stewart and wife Lisa of Burlington, N.C.
2 Sisters: Rebecca Standard and husband Eddie of Hinesville, Ga.
Rachel O’Neal and husband Donnie of Hinesville, Ga.
Grandchildren: Danielle Reddick, Matthew Reddick, Mason Thomas, Briseis Elder, Kace Griffin, Knox Griffin, and River Pease.
Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Stewart were held on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at the City Boulevard Church of Christ in Waycross, Ga. with Rev. Ryan Tuten officiating. Special music included “Amazing Grace”, How Great Thou Art”, “It Is Well with My Soul”, and “Blue Skies and Rainbows” by the attending congregation. The interment followed in Willacoochee City Cemetery.
Serving as active pallbearers were Roland Stewart, Everette Reagan, Jim Arnold, Matthew Thomas, Brandon Perry, and Nolan Fanbrich.
Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
