Ruth Ann (Abel) Arthur, 75, passed away Saturday, February 17th 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Ruth Ann was born on November 7th,1948 to Robert & Essie Mae Abel.
Ruth Ann married her love, Michael Arthur on July 27th, 1985.
Ruth Ann truly enjoyed spending time with her family & children. She also loved to scrapbook.
She was a devout member of Jehovah's Witnesses of Vincennes. Ruth Ann had the most unwavering faith. She was truly the most beloved wife, mother, sister, & grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Mike of Vincennes. Son, Dereck Abel - wife Angie Abel of Bicknell, Indiana. Daughter, Kindra Abel Arnold - husband Doug Arnold of North Carolina. Daughter, Brittany Crowder - husband Stephen Crowder of Vincennes. A sister Carol Abel Foster of Vincennes. A brother Robert Abel - wife Lisa Abel. Her grandchildren Chelsea Alvis Stefureac - husband Kevin Stefureac of NC. Kurtis Alvis, Alannea Abel, Lane Abel, & Easton Abel all of Vincennes. Ruth Ann had many nieces & nephews she loved as well.
Ruth Ann preceded in death by her parents, her son Aaron Boger-Arthur, & brother Raymond Abel & sister Marilyn Catiller.
Friends may visit with the family from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday 23rd at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home. Saturday visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm and funeral services will follow at 1:00pm. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home - 524 Broadway Street - Vincennes.
Stephen Crowder will officiate & Ruth Ann will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery. Online memories may be shared with Ruth Ann's family at www.goodwinsieversfh.com.
