Sharon Kay (Cockerham) Conrad, 61, of San Francisco, CA, passed away on August 20, 2025, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.
She was born on March 31, 1964, to the late Dale L. & Mary D. (Baker) Cockerham in Vincennes, IN.
Sharon was a 1982 graduate of Lincoln High School. Years later, she went to Michigan to Northwest Airlines and trained to become a flight attendant, which eventually led her to San Francisco, CA, where she had a career of over 35 years serving both Northwest and Delta Airlines. Sharon thoroughly enjoyed her career and loved to get to travel and see the world.
In her free time, she enjoyed riding her bike, going on hikes, reading a good book, and spending time outdoors.
Survivors include her siblings, Robert Cockerham and his wife Debby, Sandy Cockerham and her wife Bj Davis, her twin sister, Karen Cockerham Jarrell and her husband Tony, and Amy Cockerham Kaiser and her husband Tony; her nieces and nephews, Jessica Cockerham Hall and her husband Robert, Joshua Cockerham and his wife Sara, Jay Cockerham, Rob Hendricksen, and Kelly Cockerham; several great nieces and nephews; her furry companion, Clive; and her sister-in-law, Marianne Cockerham.
She was preceded by her parents Dale & Mary; and her brother, Bill Cockerham.
A memorial service for Sharon will be held on September 3, 2025, at 11:00am at St. James Episcopal Church 610 Perry St., Vincennes, IN 47591 with Rev. Dennis Latta officiating. The family requests memorial contributions to be made to the San Francisco SPCA, an organization that Sharon held close to her heart and where she adopted her furry friend Clive.
