Ruth Ann Besecker, 93, of Boynton Beach Florida, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025.
Born on March 23, 1932 in Yakima Washington to Harris and Irene Haycox. After moving to Dallas, Pennsylvania she met her future husband of 53 years, Don Besecker. She attended College of Southern Seminary. She married Don in 1953 and they soon moved to Boynton Beach, Florida where they raised their two children.
Ruth lived in Boynton for over 65 years. She was very active member of the Boynton Beach Methodist church. She was past president of PEO, and a member of the Ruth Circle. She spent many years volunteering at her son's school, St Josephs and at Galaxy Elementary School. She also belonged to the Boynton Beach Women's Club and had many friends throughout the community.
She was survived by sons Doug and wife, Julie. Dave and wife, Monica. Grandchildren, Aimee Brasington, Sean Besecker, Kevin Besecker, Donnie Besecker and Britney D'Antonio. All of whom she was so proud of. She was predeceased by her husband, Don.
A private family service will be held at Boynton Beach Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to The First Church of Boynton Beach, 101 N. Seacrest Blvd, Boynton Beach, Fl 33435
