Ruth "Lucille" (Hibbs) Brewsaugh, 79 of Lebanon, Tennessee, and formerly of Jackson County, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Lebanon Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Lebanon, Tennessee.
Lucille was born Saturday, July 21, 1945, in Lynchburg, Ohio, the daughter of the late Coleman T. Hibbs and the late Ruth R. (Brown) Hibbs.
Lucille was a loving daughter, sister, mother, Memaw, aunt, and friend. She was extremely tough and fought her illness to the very end. She would speak her mind, and you never had to wonder where you stood with her. She loved the Lord and would often study her Bible in her free time. Lucille was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
Lucille is survived by, 6 Children; Laura Ann Brewsaugh, Bryan Reed Brewsaugh, Corey Lee Brewsaugh, Dustin Lee Brewsaugh, Cassie Rose Birdwell and her husband, Michael, and Kelly Rose Brewsaugh; 15 Grandchildren, Allen Vogel, Timmy Vogel, Dana Vogel, Delanie Vogel, Chyanna Birdwell, Michael Birdwell, II., Kaden Birdwell, Kaleb Birdwell, Noah Garrett, Lilly Garrett, Ceara Brewsaugh, Austin Knight, Tyler Brewsaugh, Madison Brewsaugh, and Brittany Parks; 10 Great-Grandchildren, Jade Parks and Hudson Harris; Great-Great-Grandson, Owen Lail; 3 Siblings, Billy Hibbs, Daryl Hibbs, and Faye Powers; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by 6 Siblings, Bob Hibbs, Wayne Hibbs, John Hibbs, Betty McKee, Helen Bradford, and Janet Simons.
Lucille chose cremation, the family followed her wishes, and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
